In this guide we will install and review the Max IPTV Player for Android TV & Google TV Devices.

Max IPTV is a high functioning Live TV Player built for streaming devices including all popular Android/Google TV Boxes.

Currently, the application is only available via Google Play Store so those with Firestick/Fire TV devices are unable to access this app.

Max requires a paid subcription with a few different plans to choose from which include different features, connections and more.

How to Install Max IPTV Player on Android TV & Google TV

We have broken down our guide into several steps which include creating a free account, adding your streaming playlist, installing the app, and connecting your device.

Step 1 – Create Free Account

1. Visit the official website for Max IPTV – maxiptv.app and click Sign Up.

2. Input your login credentials and click Create account. (We suggest using an anonymous email for complete privacy/security)

3. You will then email verification message.

4. Find the email from Max IPTV and click Verify Email.

5. Click Go to Dashboard.

Step 2 – Add your Playlists/Provider

We will now integrate a Playlist.

1. Within the Dashboard, choose Add Playlist.

2. Input your Playlist details and click Add Playlist.

3. You will then see your Playlist has been configured within the Dashboard.

Step 3 – Install Max IPTV App

We will now install the Max IPTV App on our streaming device.

1. Open the Google Play Store or App Search.

2. Search for Max IPTV.

3. Click the Max IPTV App as pictured below. Make sure you select the correct option.

4. Select Install.

5. Click Open.

Step 4 – Sync Your Device(s)

We will now sync our account with the device we just installed the app on.

1. Select Restore from Max IPTV.

2. You will then see the following screen to input your activation code.

3. Return to your account Dashboard and from the drop down menu, click Devices.

4. Click Add device.

5. Select Generate Activation Code.

6. You are then provided with your device activation code.

7. Return to the Max IPTV App and input your code. Choose Activate Device.

8. Choose your Playlist and click Add.

9. Your playlist will sync for access.

Max IPTV Features & Details

Max IPTV offers the ability to stream both Live Television as well as Video on Demand (VOD) content.

The Live TV tab is sorted by Category based on your streaming playlist.

The built in media player works fairly well with a few simple configurations.

NOTE: We experienced stuttering and lag when using Max IPTV on our Google TV Box. If you have the same issues, you may want to consider an alternative live streaming player such as TiviMate.

You can Add channels to favorites by long clicking on your selection.

Favorites can be access from the app home screen.

There are also numerous Settings you can adjust to your personal preference.

This includes the ability add a Parental Pin, adjust Playback options, and more.

Max IPTV currently offers 3 different subscription packages which range in price and capabilities.

All packages are annual plans ranging from $10 – $20 per year. Users can pay via PayPal or with Credit/Debit card.
